We have been awarded a grant of £9999, enabling ourselves and a CADAS specialist worker  to work with young people who are carers for a family member who suffers with a drug/alcohol dependency in Eden. The specialist worker will deliver support sessions and provide a safe space for young carers to explore issues they may be having and share their experiences. Through this support the young people will become more emotionally resilient, their isolation will be reduced and their confidence will be able developed leading to an increase in self-esteem.
